For once I submitted a traditional pic that wasn't just lineart. XD
I stupidly bought a Pental brush pen (damn impulse buys...) a few weeks ago, and when I tried to return to the store, it turned out they only accepted exchanges and store credit. T_T So, I decided to exchange the 1 brush pen for about 3 or 4 watercolor brush pens and a couple of brushes. The watercolor pens were definitely a better buy.
I don't have very many watercolor pens right now, so this is a mix of the pens and regular watercolors. I've hardly ever done any watercolor paintings; including this picture, I've made maybe 7 watercolor projects/paintings that I can remember. My dinky, little scanner can only scan an 8x10 area, so there are parts missing to this, but they're not important enough that I felt I had to paste them back into the image.
Oh, and splatter effects are SOOOO much easier to make traditionally. XD
Happy July 4th everyone! And if you're not from the US; then happy random day! XD
