All the leaves are gone

Just something simple, loosely based on a scene from something I wrote for Nanowrimo. I was gonna keep this on tumblr because I still think of it as a quick sketch, but I really want to try out the Sta.sh feature. I'm not sure I completely get the point of that thing, honestly. When they first introduced it, I thought it would have a queue function similar to tumblr- so I could schedule when a deviation goes in my gallery, maybe at a time I'm away from the computer. I know that would help with webcomics (when I start mine); I could be sure pages would be uploaded on a regular basis and not risk forgetting to upload something one day. This just seems to be uploading a drawing and then coming back when I want to submit it.

Anyway, that's enough ranting. Enjoy my character standing by a tree. I kind of find it depressing when I walk outside one day and notice how few leaves are left on the trees. And the ones that are left aren't colorful like in autumn, they're just...brown and sad.
